I read a post that referenced a Mazdaspeed RX-8 that would have about 300 horsepower. I however have no other info on the Mazdaspeed edition and would appreciate any and all input.

All they said at SevenStock was that they were planning on building such a car. That's all I know.

 

Yes, but that will be after they make the Mazdaspeed 6 which is the next in line after the 3 (the protege). So it probably it will be at least two years until they do it. After the 8 it comes the turn of the 5 but it may turn out even to be the next generation of the roadster ....

 

How could they tease us with such a mouthwatering piece of information and give us at the same time so little info on performance and availability and specs? C'mon Mazda, give us a morsel or two more. Do we even know if it will look like the current RX-8? Thanks.
