Mazda Promo?

Mazda should give away a free RX-8 model promo with the purchase of any new RX-8. What do you think? A great way to get the young ones into the RX fold? I think I would like it even for myself.

I have been looking for a scale model of the Rx-8 but I still haven't found one. Its strange because the z has been released as a model already. But it would be cool to get one if you bought the car.

Not only has the Z got Hot Wheels to make a model for them, but Tomica makes one as well. The Tomica casting is expecially good. Hot Wheels also made the original Z car and now also makes the Skyline. Hot Wheels has only made one Mazda car, and that's the 1st generation Miata. Not even the RX-7, of either generation, did they make.

C'mon Hot Wheels, live up to your name and make the true Hot Wheel car, the RX-8.

I'd rather have the real deal - than a toy.

C'mon Mazda, live up to your name and make another high powered sports car.

MINI had a similar promo as well. My neighbor had ordered a MINI S, and while waiting for the car to come in, he received a complimentary die cast (1:43 scale i think).

MINI also had other promo offers when purchasing/ordering. But this wasn't just a model launch, but a brand launch.

I would think Mazda could swing some freebies for those who preorder. Small scale diecast and/or keychains are negligible in cost in lots of 5,000+ A good friend of mine work at an aluminum casting business in Bowling Green, KY and they can give big volume discounts depending on the order size. One of those ecomomies of scale benefits.

Lets put them together with Mazda/Ford. Everybody loves a freebee, especially if you're prepared to spend on this car.
