The MS parts are mainly for better sound. Estimated gains are maybe 3-7hp per unit. I have both, started with Dual Sport Exhaust then did the intake. They sound great together. I'd say exhaust, no sense in sucking in more air if you can't get it out just as fast. My .02.

GL whatever you do.

$200 each NEW?!? The exhaust is over 400 and the intake is 350 new. I got an exhaust before intake. But it's just personal preference, you won't notice much difference with either, just makes the car sound better.

the mazdaspeed is just a catback, you cant expect any real gains from it. the stock exhaust isnt that restrictive.

i'd go for the cold air intake, then get the turbo xs exhaust, which includes a race pipe.

He's not talking about the Dual-Canister, it's the Verson 1 Single Canister. The Dual Canister goes for $650.

Mazdaspeed parts are a waste. WAY overpriced! Get a K&N Drop in filter and a Greddy SP2. Greddy is going out of business so you can pick up the exhaust for cheap! Look at Fluid Motorsports Greddy sale.
