Mazda Rx8

I was actually thinking of purchasing a Mazda RX8?

Before doing so, is there anything I should know about?

Recalls, etc?

Let me know!

thanks!

Brother ... do a seach. There was a fellow that asked the EXACT same thing a day ago. First make sure you test drive it, to make sure you like it.

Read up on this board in the Tech Garage section. Depending on your needs, read up on those sections (ie if you have snow ... might want to look into DSC equipped car, etc).

Here's a link for the TSBs to date

Look here for problems, TSB's and recalls.

If you want to street race, get a Mustang or an STi.
If you're all about image, get a 350Z.
If you want good gas mileage, get a Civic.
If you want to drive a car that's an extension of your mind and body, and want to drive with a permanent smile affixed to your face, you're in the right place. :D

Wow, this questions getting asked so much lately, someone should put together some info and make it a sticky stating "ALL NEW BUYERS CLICK HERE"
and that would take care of that.

Surf and explore this web forum. Most 8 owners have. I did. Now I'm an 8 owner.

Good luck...

I'm planning on doing just that. Gotta take care of some other things first, though.

Yes, look and test drive

I have a V-Tec as my every day drive, plenty of poop and good on gas, but when I want to enjoy my drive it has to be my RX:D, in the BC mountains and on any curve it is a breath taker! I have yet to have any issues with mine (only had it a few months), but if it endures as well as my RX7 did for ten years (even with flooding problems), it will be my favorite car in the price range!

Just be prepared for a sometimes termpermental auto, it is like dating a beautiful woman

yes, if you buy an RX8, it'll go perfect with the RX8 Carbon Fiber hood that you're selling in the RX8 parts section.

No ones buying that you're trying to be legit to make your sale. Go away.
