Write a letter to the Owner and CC: a copy to the GM of the dealership and then to your attorney. Let them know that your next stop is the BBB. In the letter explain what happened. Get an estimate of the damage and have the dealer make you a cash settlement for the damage. I'm sure with this kind of attention, that they will satisfy your complaint. Good Luck!
I agree, a written letter will get a response for sure. For some reason, big companies take letters a lot more serious than phone calls and complaints in person. Must be some legal reason.

Keep us posted. and dont let them off the hook,
that's not a base model Mazda 3 or B-series P/up truck; Its the friggin $30,000+ flagship from their marque you bought from them and therefore they should give you the very best in service. Nothing less will do.

I dropped off my car today to have the headlight lenses replaced. I wanted to speak with the service manager but the service advisor had told me that he has spoken with him and the service manager said that they will take care of it.

I hope they fix your wheels, and if they do, good on you.

The last time mine was in, they got ball point pen ink on my drivers seat. I have cloth, gray, and it was blue pen. Probably from leaning in to put that dumb sticker in the window for the next oil change. They claim it was already there, I called BS and lost. I got it out with some stain remover, hooray for 3M scotch guard.

Try Arlington Mazda

A friend of mine is the GM of a dealership in Arlington, VA and he set me up nicely with an incredible deal on a Shinka mt about 6 weeks ago. When the weather got warm and I rolled down the windows I noticed a sound in the exhaust that should not be there. I took it in and they discovered damage to one of the cat. converters. They replaced it under waranty. The service from the service dept. was very good. They did everything possible to get my car out ASAP. They had no idea that my friend was their boss. I will definately take the car back next time because of the service even though I live near Dulles. (which is a long ride in rush hour traffic in the DC metro) Try taking your car to Arlington Mazda.

I just got my car back from getting the brake hubs painted. The service manager said that Mazda would pay for this service. What pissed me off was that the car was left at a body shop (not own by the dealership) for two days. The owner of the body shop called me and ask me if I really wanted the brake calibers painted. WTF didn't anyone at the service dept tell him it was the hubs? Can't he see that there's rust all over the hubs?

I was pissed off cause after two days they haven't started working on the car.

The wheels look great silly.

i think that the black rims look cheap. i am a fan of dark gunmetel and i know that its similar, but the gunmetal has a different look/feel than a flat black. the only car ive seen it on that looks decent is the rsx in that dark champaigne color b/c the gunmetal would clash. i like the gunmetal on the darker color 8s, but think the brighter colors (not white, thats gay too) looks good on the silver and titanium ones.

I didn't think the dealership would take care of this for free.
I had the same problem and took my 8 to Darcars Silver Spring. My breaks were making noise and there was rust on the rotors. Complained about it, talk to the Vice President of Customer Service and Got all the Brake Pads and Rotors Replaced for FREE. I would complain big time!!!!! I'll see if I can't scan the Invoice tomorrow and show you everyone.

They're not actually plain black, they're metallic charcoal.

I know what you mean by black cheap rims. My friend tried to copy my wheels but his rims were way cheaper than mine and they were plain black with polished lip . They look so fugly and cheap.

How can a Dealer with this much product focus on your car?

You obviously don't know **** about rims...Those are Ro_ja's by Rays eng. and are an excellent wheel that IS NOT BLACK...it is between a gunmetal (which u think is so damn cool) and black (well over 2 grand too)...you obviously haven't seen CortC's HRE black face silver lipped rims...they are classy...unlike you and your comments

your comment in the start of this thread was TOTALLY inappropriate as the thread was about damage to the rims not 'do you like my rims' 'what color should I get my rims in'...even worse you decided to criticize someone when they needed help to solve the problem or provice support...you didn't provide a damn thing but an already stated piece of advice and a snide comment that makes you look like an *******.

Maybe you made that comment because you actually still drive a Neon...and wanted to feel better about yourself.

sorry about your wheels, that is just plain carelessness on the Tech's part, the dealership should make amends for it if you handle it properly

Besides aren't those suppose to be torqued instead of using a impact wrench?

The service advisor mentioned earlier today that they used a torque but it was still narrow and hard to remove the lugs since they were aftermarket lugs hmmm

that is still no excuse...if it doesn't fit you don't try to jam it in there

obviously they got lugs on and off...really this is just a matter of carelessness...well if you do get new rims out of this you can sell me these and I'll have them refinished...in glossy black

I highly doubt that they will be buying me new wheels. Im just sooo sick of dealing with this people.

I declined to have my squeaking brakes looked at today because Im still fed up about this. I have another appointment next wednesday and have the guy come in to have my wheels fix.

I guess because I bitched and got the chance to email the Vice President. I walked in the next morning after emailing her and she was there as I walked in the door. Her name is Rose Bayat. Very nice Lady, it funny how people act when someone high up comes in. Never had a problem after that and everyone treated me like a star.

I complained about the Rust on the Rotors but they didnt state that in the Invoice but Here it is:

just b/c rims are expensive doent mean they look good. as with anything its all opinion. the op even agreed w/me about plain black rims and i couldnt tell from his picture that they werent flat black. my first post actually did contain advise to get the dealer to replace the rims as the damage was unacceptable, especially to an aftermarket part of that price. i may have also been drunk on the first post (however, i still dont like flat black rims.)
