Did anyone else notice the R3 rims on the Mazda3??? Looks a bit odd imo, the R3 rims have the rotary incorporated into them and it doesn't make since to have them on a Mazda3... weird....

As for the White R3, Yes... or the Blue.... idk I just sold my WWP to go get a WB, so you cant go wrong with either color, but since you're in the US you'll have to go with Blue

It's "tomorrow" do you have it yet?

If not, get blue.

Actually, I think, any kind of sports car in white will have lower resale values than their color counterparts. So yeah, the hassle of getting the car and getting hit at resale wouldn't justify it. On the other hand, I can jerk to the Mazda 3 with the R3 wheels in white.

Dude! Seriously?

White looks sick and it's Japan's racing color which makes it completely appropriate on any Japanese sports car.

Not a Rotary, not an R3, not the possibly "last" Rotary and RX8. Its like if you try to find a White Vert TII FC... its pretty damn hard. Especially in a MINT condition. White Convertible TII FC's are running used around the same price for our RX8's used (i want one).

not on a Rotary. But Ill agree with you that on BMW, Lexus, Jag and MERC it sure is

The MS3 is coming out with "Rotary" wheels whether we want them to or not.

ah, so the SEMA one actually has the real thing. I don't think having the 18 inch one is so bad considering it just adds another rim option and the R3's are 19's/ Are the aniversary one's 18's, the painted ones?

I don't see why they stopped making a black R3.

You guys are making me want to go out and test drive one.

I understand what you mean. I feel the same way about some other colors, but I like blue too much not to get it. I considered red, but I just had to get blue.

Hey yes I finally got it. On Saturday my wife and I drove from San Antonio to Austin and looked at two red R3's one was pristine (it's mine now!) and the other one not so much - at all.

Anyway they were on opposite sides of town. Looked at the nice one first, then went and looked at the other one, then went back and told the dealer with the nice one it's a done deal. Then called my bank, they were closed. Aargh!! Drove back home, went to the bank on Monday got everything done, then drove back up last night and finally picked it up!!

Geez, I love this car. I had an '04, the R3 suspension is so much stiffer. It's great!

And I have to admit I absolutely love the red. Here are a couple of REALLY bad pictures. I'll try to do better soon.

For the record. It has 5300 miles on it. There is not one scratch or blemish anywhere on it. It looks brand new, and we really went over it before we bought it. Ended up paying $22,900.

Do you know when the next Cars & Coffee will be?

Ugh, basketball and baseball tournaments suck. It's the last Saturday of every month.
