M Flash Question

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure this has been asked before and there must be threads on it floating around, but allow me to ask it once again. How can u self-test to see if your reflash was indeed the "m" flash and not a lower version of the flash? I think it has something to do with the break pedal or something? I appreciate everyones help.

Visually or without diagnostic tools, you can't tell the difference between "L" or "M" because they both sweep the oil gauge when you do the "brake tap" test...

Turn your ingnition key to "acc", then tap the brake pedal 20 times within an
8 second period. Look at your oil gauge...it should sweep if your car is currently update to L or M flash.

I did it last night!!! Pretty cool!!

The other way to see if you have the M flash is to check for a sticker under the hood. I believe there should be a "campaign" sticker there indicating a part number beginning with the letter "M". Checking for the sticker is the preferred method: the brake sweep test resets the ECU, removing any "learning" that its done regarding your particular driving style.
