M flash also known as PCM ?

Is the M flash also known as the PCM. I've had that done to my car but made an appointment with the dealer for the M on Saturday. Should I go ahead and cancel.

So do you think i've already had it. All it says on the service paper is PCM reflash.

then why would they set you up to do it again? there is only one reason- they didnt close the issue in mazda's records. they need to do that so go ahead with the appointment. they will check to see what level you are on and then when they see that you are already on M they will indicate that in the mazda system and you will be on your way.

I think the local dealership made a mistake and flashed my PCM with ME (windows ME) instead of M. If I had the NAV system, it'd be displaying the BSOD right now.
