its says its a 5 speed?? Told him that they only have 6 cept for europe. He said he made a mistake and its actually 6spd. Now its kinda far away and i dont wanna drive to see it. It cheap and seems sketchy so thats why im wondering if he is lying. dont like the rims either.. haha. but check it out

Mazdaspeed front end or knock off. Those rims are not stock so I can't tell if it's a base or GT. At that price it may be a base model. '04 I would want to know if it has had the motor swapped. If not you will still be under warranty but I don't know if you want to go through the hassle.

it looks like a base rx8 with some ugly rims and a front bumper change that was probably bought at auction and now being marked up and sold. i would steer clear.

 

Tell him you want $1500.00 more off because it's missing a gear!

it's cheap for a reason, i would carfax it before i even thought about making a trip to go see it. then i would call the dealer with the vin to see if its on its orig engine and if its had all the recalls

 

where are you NIMA? id do what the others have said as far as the vin- find out where it came from. I might be able to take a look at in person for you...

 

They don't, except for the base AT, as far as I know.

This one looks to have cloth seats and no sunroof, so it looks like a base model.

Either way, I'd say a personal look is warranted. that's cheap as hell.

 

Seems like it's priced right considering the economy. Auction values are around 10k, so I guess it's a little low assuming the dealership picked it up at auction.


carfax for claims/repairs (engine replacement) & check with mazda on the warranty.


But it's a nice price. There are 8s available with lower miles for around 10k, so it seems reasonable to sell 57k for 10 grand.

 

see if you can get some money knocked off the price - maybe price out some rims that don't suck and ask for that much off.

 

It's a base model. no sun roof.

That means no DSC or TCS
