low dyno

I just had my 8 dyno'd and it seems low; am I correct in thinking this. Mods: unorthodox pulleys, nology hot wires, agency exhaust, k&n v. 2 intake. Only 152 horsepower and 122 torque on a dynojet.

Do you have the chart?
Know what other cars were running on that dyno?

A single dyno can't really be used for comparison between other cars run on other dynos.

Just wondering though, coils new?

Yeah that seems a little low for a manual.

you can take it to dealer unless someone local has a tester you can use.
if the compression is low then it's replacement engine time

Nology wires are crap. K&N typhoon is crap.
Looks like you're also going to need a new engine.

Yeah the dealership has done all the work on my car, I explained to service manager that I dyno'd it and it was low. He said "so you were on the freeway and you felt a loss of power, correct? " so I'm dropping it off today. Hopefully new engine.

My car had a similar dyno pull and turned out to have a leaking SSV vacuum actuator.
You can check the GTA Dyno day in the Canada forum starting page 10 of the thread.
I posted the dyno chart, AP logs etc.

so the dealership says that it's not the compression, he said that he tried to warranty it out but that it needs a tune up, new spark plugs, and the sea foam stuff. i'm getting it detailed too. uhg, gonna cost about 800$ this is on top of the other 2,800$ i've spent on it last month (new emissions fan, new o2 sensor, mazdaspeed side skirts, rear bumper, installation, stainless steel braided clutch line, new tires, oil change) uhg, this car is bleeding money!

Sounds way too expensive... if it's just plugs and sea foam, find someone local to help you out. That should not cost that much.

If your compression is good then you do not NEED the seafoam treatment.
And unless you see the CEL flashing at high RPM you do not NEED plugs, wires, coils.

Get your hands on a vacuum tester and check for vacuum leaks on the actuators.
