They are meant to burn oil. You should probably do some reading before you go much farther with a purchase.

The first one scares me because of the mileage, the second scares me because of the mods. I personally don't like buying a car with any performance parts, just means it's more likely to have been bagged on. Read the thread for prospective buyers, lots of good into there.

Buying a car with these mods just shows a car that been bagged on.

Try to find a bone stock rx-8 with absolutely no mods what so ever....

Second thought do some reading a research before jumping into a rx-8 that burning oil statement kinda scared me...

How many back to stock sales do we see on this forum?

Just because a car is stock, doesnt mean it never was modified before!!!

How do you know that a car you look at, just did 50k miles with a turbo kit?

So dont just assume that a stock car is in better condition than a modified one

Read https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-discuss...t-here-202454/ and decide if it is the car for you. Read the whole thing.

Using the terms rx8 and fast in the same sentence now are we?
I must of missed that memo.

IMO I would choose neither and keep looking.

OP: it seems you are kinda like me on vehicles, but... For a lil more $ u could go for a better choice (year/mileage/title) I had both cars G35 and the 8.

DO your homework before going into a ROTARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

between the two... I would say the G is easier, but I just love the RE's and sold the G.

I went h2h (G shiftronic vs 8 manual).

Also, SEARCH (in a good way) you'll get flamed in a little.

I got my 07 with 55k miles for 12k just to throw it out there

Please read around a bit on here before you choose anything.

Also, I think I've seen that first 8 somewhere on here before.

Well, since you've done absolutely no research on the RX-8 as of yet, and you 3 cars have 104k, 82k, and 91k with a salvage title (right side body damage on the Infiniti), I would recommend you take the Infiniti to a body shop to see how well/poorly the work was done, and buy that one if it checks out.

You will spend less on replacement parts for it than on either RX-8 with that many miles, and no idea what you're getting into.

BC.

Live and learn. As others already said...do your research first before you decide to get it, specially those big dollar items...like cars, good luck with your search.

The 04's are close to or out of warranty. The 04/05 model years had more problems than 06 and even less after 07. So save yourself some headaches and worrying. Spend a little more on the initial buy and buy atleast an 06 with 50-70k (low as possible obviously) miles on it so you have plenty of warranty left. Read the stickies on here and become somewhat familiar with your car.
