May 2004 build date, 5 miles at purchase, now 2250 miles, nada problemo except for a lady friend puking out the passenger door one evening--but she missed the upholstery! :p

4/03. 22,000 miles now. Had almost all TSBs and recalls done: Air bag, cycling a/c, several flashes, heat shield. Also, my ring gear busted loose, trashing my trannie which was replaced under warranty. Search for "ring gear" and read my sad saga from last New Years. Still have low gas mileage; if I break 17 mpg i'm lucky, and I rarely do. I've given up on that. Still love my RX-8! Car had 12 miles on it when purchased.
