Little puddles on hood?
Does anyone notice while you're driving in the rain, the two little puddles that form in the middle of the hood(in the rotary shaped part)? I dunno, I'm really bored.

We're noticing it as well, but as soon as we do we take it for a drive and the heat evaporates everything (until it rains again). We're going to have to watch this so it doesn't sit there for any period of time and mess up the paint.

Bringing comments in from the other thread, acid rain or not, standing water followed perhaps by bright sunshine (esp on a dark colored car) on multiple occasions probably isn't the best as far as paint fade, etc, goes. More incentive to prep and wax often?

That's what you have a beater for...so you don't have to drive the rx-8 in the rain.

Damn, I've had the car for three weeks now and still no rain. So I can't picture what you guys (and gals) are saying.
Anyone know a good rain dance (my lawn would love that, too)?
