Learning ECU?

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know if the ECU in our 8s are adaptive aka learing ECU?
The reason I ask is that I had my 10000km service about 2 tank fulls ago and the mileage I got was terrible... now it seems to be back to the way it was before the service. I haven't changed my driving style or route.
At first I thought that it may have been a bad batch, but I fill my gf's car at the same service station at roughly the same time (same day) and she's had no change in fuel consumption..

any thoughts?

Maybe they did the TSB and M flashed your car while it was in for service. I understand that it clears and has to re learn.

yes it is an adaptive ecu. it does "learn" your driving style. they could have cleared the memory but it still could have been a bad batch.
