I posted this in the DIY forum but that one doesn't get much traffic so here it is:

OK here is my delema, I had two original keys--I was one of the first wave to buy the 05 key for my 04--I programmed it and it worked back in the day, one of my set of key remotes didn't work after that, no big deal because I had the 05 and an 04 remote that worked and all three keys turned the car on. Fast forward to today...I lost the 05 key so I bought a replacement and got it keyed--so now I have a set of 04 keys with remote that work, an 04 key with a remote that does not work and my new 05 key that I need to program - can I still program the remote on the 05 key by myself? And another alteration to the riddle--the 04 key that I have with remote that works, one of my friends has right now (long story) - do I need to get a hold of that key before I try and program the new one?
