You can get a 450 whp kit for about 5-6k. How long the rear end/tranny would last depends on how its driven. Still, even upgrading all the major components can be done for under 10k. Afaik, the highest I've seen in a dyno was about 420whp. The kit says it can put out boost enough for 500+ whp, afaik it hasn't been achieved.

And then you are driving a unique, gorgeous, fast ******* car, and not a dime a dozen camaro.

That's just my opinion though.

i only pointing out the negative sides to your car. thats its. have you never watched a car review before ? they have negative and positive sides to the review. the rx8 is slow in a straight line compared to camaros, mustangs, 370z, STI, cars like that. the rx8 does have very cool sounding engine and is very well balanced car with all some handling. am i really putting the car down ?

just think about that.

 

Thank you for being the FIRST PERSON EVER to point out a negative side to a 7 year old car. It was known to be flawless for 7 straight years before your incredible genius was able to completely analyze the car and determine that it is, in fact, similar to other cars in that it has disadvantages on top of it's advantages.
