Just put on new spark plugs...power increase is ridiculous!

After having flooded my engine about 20,000 miles ago I've noticed a seriously drop in power, among other things such as when starting the car took longer, and when on the interstate on hot days the car would chug, well all of this is no more.

I put on spark plugs this past Saturday and haven't looked back since. Such a major improvement. I emplore anyone who has had problems starting their car, power loss, or especially HUGE powerloss on hot days to change our your spark plugs, you will notice a huge difference and feel the way the car is meant to be!

I've ordered mine and am waiting. Sometimes my car is taking about 10secs to start. I'm hoping this solves the problem. I've never flooded but have about 40,000 miles (60,000 kms) on the car now. It's on '04 MT.

I guess you just found this out while you were getting pulled over for street racing?

I don't know if I like "power increase" in this case. It's more like "the power loss has decreased!"

I will be putting mine in tomorrow, can't wait. I've never flooded mine either but I hope it will make some difference. I've got 33K on mine and it has always idled smooth and run good to red line with each use. In all my rotaries I have never been able to get much over 20K before I felt the need for new plugs.

That's all you need! Now you can get arrested for street racing again!

Sorry.............I didn't see the other responses before I jumped on this! Obviously Turok is in need of limp mode!

I changed mine last week end and the difference is clear..... The car is more responsive.

I had 44 000 km on my old spark plugs and those were really dirty when I changed it!!!

The old plugs look great and the gap is on! Put the new ones in and it still runs perfectly. I think I could have gone 50K. Dont forget to have a 3"-6"-12" extentions for your socket to reach. The leading plugs were changed by dealer TSB and they have only 10k miles, the trailing plugs have 33k miles on them.

stock plugs need replacing at 24-30K miles... The car will still run, but for max power, every 24-30K miles maximum.

And that is considerable better than the RX-7's where every 10K-15K miles they really needed to be changed.
