Just purchased by second love!
Well my first love being that of my girlfriend of course ^_0, i just traded in my 02 Kawasaki Ninja 600 and 1994 Ford Explorer for a 2004 Red Rx-8 Fully loaded
MT, Nav, Power all, slip differentials, seat warmers, sun roof, haha i love this car more than i did my bike but i have a couple questions.
1) Nav system, can i play dvds with this?(it says dvd..)
2) My visors are both broke (pics will be up shortly)
3) Why is it so fast? haha the acceleration feels similar to the bike
4) Anyone live in the Tampa Bay area?
5)Are led foot lights worth $60.00 ?

VR is a great color for the rx8, good choice man, welcome to the club!
And yes the led footwell lights are worth the 60 bucks, they were one of my first mods and I always get positive comments about them. The red ones match the display lights nicely.

i have a VR also and freakin love it! i just got the windows tinted on it and man it just adds so much eye appeal to it! i havn't thought about the led foot lights...but the more and more i think about it the more i want to!

Yea for my budget at the moment, my gf is going to get my windows tinted either 15 or 20 (not sure yet) and than LEDS for inside becuase afterall the most important appeal is to me :D and than probably rims if i can get a GREAT deal(but in no way rush on rims)

NO. When i switched from bike to car you can totally feel the difference , kinda like everything in slow motion
. But yeah its a good car , hope you treat it well :P.

Literally yes, but on the bike i would accelerate thru the gears and coast at traffic speed and find myself going 10+ over, same with this car. However, with the old explorer i had i NEVER could go 10 over so i guess compared to a 15year old v8 4x4 that weighed 4times the rx8 its noticeably fast
