I guess I'm in the club now. After contemplating between the 350Z, RX-8, and the S2000, I chose the RX-8. I ordered it in Winning Blue from Cook Mazda and I am number 12 on the reserve list. They are getting 15 this month so I should be getting mine this month. Just a quick question, I got the Grand Touring Package with the 6 speed tranny, but the salesman said something about the Touring Package having better suspension or something? I've checked a few websites and haven't seen anything about this. Also, why is it the other parts(front/rear lips, side skirts, spoiler) can't be ordered yet? Is that only in Japan? I just thought it was awkard. Any helpful input would be much appreciated.

All 6MT cars are the same in every way of performance (except weight). When you get Touring or Gran Touring... those are the luxury add on stuff (i.e. Leather seats, heated mirrors, moonroof, etc.). Hope that helps! :D

Your sales guy doesn't know what he is talking about. From everything I've heard and read the GT has the better suspension and better ride.

The optional accessories can be ordered, but some of them won't in for a month or so.

Good Luck on getting your car this month. I seriously doubt it. But if you do, I'm going to be jealous.

I'm part of the 2nd allocation. I won't get it until July!!

The rotary accent package wasn't available at my dealer? Wtf is going on? I talked to the owner himself and he guaranteed 15 were coming in June and I am number 12 on the list... I can't wait!! They just sent my invoice and the hardcover book.
