Just wanted to say hey and thank everyone for the info I got off the site, I ordered a Titanium Gray 6sp w/ Sport Package yesterday for my fiance and me. In only 8-10 short weeks we'll be on the road.

Hopefully the wait will pass quickly and I will definitely post pics as soon as we get it. As for attention from the ladies, my girl is cool with it but the car excuse is the way to go.

 

I'm curious as to the dealer you ordered from, and what kind of deal you negotiated.

I'm in the process of trying to locate a 6MT/GT her in No. VA and could use some good leads.

I'm also a previous 2002 RSX-Type S owner. (Loved the car, now it's my sons)

 

I ordered from Berglund Mazda in Roanoke. A family member works for a part of the Berglund Autoworld and so I was able to get a better deal. They have been running some "sales" lately and have selected RX8's on the lot marked down about $1600. I think there are just a few in that category, but from my experience they seem to be honest and willing to work to make the sale. If you don't mind a drive down from NOVA and are fed up with local dealers they could be worth checking out. They also have a decent selection on the lot. I get to keep the RSX-S as my daily driver and my better half gets the RX8 as her daily, but on the weekend it will be all RX8.
