Just lose 111 lbs....
From my Jethro Bodine math, I figure all we have to do is get rid of about 111 lbs to have the same power to weight ratio as the 247hp. I can knock some of that out if I get my fat a$$ to the gym everyday, but just a fraction of it.
Which brings up another question, does the car's performance really suffer that much when your wife and/or girlfriend is in the car? We're not talking about a huge change here!
Just a different way of looking at it.

i had 3 full sized adults with me yesterday and it still felt very quick...of course not as fast as when i'm alone but it hauled with no sluggishness...they were all very amazed that that tiny 1.3l can do that

Rather than going to the gym why not just strip out the car:
remove the passenger seat, back seats, stereo, speakers, etc..
Then you dont have to go to the gyn and can save the monthly membership fees towards a turbo or supercharger.
Also if you turn the air off you should notice a difference in hp also.
