Just got an RX-8, what to look out for?

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and just got a 2005 RX-8 Friday. So far i absolutely love it except the gas mileage. Anything to do to help it? Also, what maintenance is there to do different from any other car? Any pointers about anything would be great!

there is a school of thought that premixing with 2 stroke oil at 200:1 or less increases gas mileage . Others have reported this -i'm trying it out now .
See 'Premix' thread for more detail

Make sure that all recalls have been completed. That will save you some of the problems that us "early adopters" went through.
