Just bought an RX8
Hey, I just bought my RX8. Pics soon to come. Anyways I read ya'alls stickies and after all the warnings about how it can be so terrible...I have decided that despite that I love the car. Anyways I don't know **** about cars but I have been studying and hope to get on your level of knowledge and truly know my car.

Now, did you read the new owners thread?
Did you have a compression test done on that car before you bought it?
Do you have records of oil changes from the previous owner?
Did you create your MyMazda login yet?
Do you have a copy of the owners manual, and have you read it yet?
And finally, how old are the coils, plugs, and wires?
Getting those questions answered will let us know how long before you become unhappy with your car.

5. Yes, not yet.
6. Don't know but can find out.
The previous owner and I are both military and have a good history. He gave me the cars complete history and I know he took care of it over the years. He is the one that actually told me to come to this site for owners information for the car.
