I just bought my RX-8 last Sunday and I love it! I got an 05 with 850 miles on it for 23k. Pretty good deal. I have previously owned a WRX and SRT-4 and this car is in a different class. The way it handles is amazing, perfect balance and dare I say, a little oversteer. Nice. Do you know what I had to do to get the WRX and SRT-4 to oversteer? I am definatly not used to rear wheel drive, but it has been fun so far.

Do any of you autocross? If so, how do our cars do?

What was it....eight of the top ten place holders in the B Stock catagory in the nationals were RX-8 drivers.

What you're calling oversteer is more like you being used to SRT-4 and the WRX's understeer. Getting used to a RWD car is somethin else. When I first got this car I drove like a British granny-nanny, thinkin I was gonna lose the back-end. It takes a few weeks to get used to. Once you start swinging it around you'll feel more comfortable in it. Believe in the car, trust her, and she will take car of you.
