I'm sorry... I just can't help but laugh at that new front end.

I understand people ranting about the nose. I don't like that myself.
But I can't understand why people are not complaining about the side vents, that now look really out of proportion with the side of the car.

One of the things I always loved in my RX8 is how the side vents provided a visual connection between the line that runs accross the side of the car and the fenders...

The new triangular one seems out of place and too small.

Is it at least functional?

The Japanese model has clear bulbs as an option.

I'm diggin the new front end. It makes the rx8 look considerably less "guppy-ish"

I've always hated the "mouth" on the rx8.

Can you take a side pic of the front end with the license plate frame removed. Sorry, but that current side shot reminds me of a police cruiser with a push bumper.

A lot of people trade their cars in when the warranty period is up, not to mention those who lease. Read this part again, he's had "4 RXs", doesn't mean all RX-8s.

Conga rats on the new car!

If you've driven a 2008 8, how does it compare to your new ride? Lots better? Marginally better? About the same?

I'm not a fan of the exterior changes, TBH.

Lessee! I bought a new 2008 iRX8 in April. You now have a new 2009. My 3000 mile 2008 is now worth? I'm starting to wear out this friggin' wall!

I work at Snoqualmie, so I'll probably see your around the flagpole. Congrats! It's nice! As with all things, including my RX8, there are things I love and things I wish were different. It is what it is.

I wonder how long it's going to take for some of the new things like memory seats, automatic headlights...sheesh even GM hs these to make the aftermarket? Or do I just need to dig through the links?

Can you get some pics from the rear with the lights on and when you pressing the brake?

All the best looking cars look like fish! Aston Martin, Maserati, some of the Ferrari's. Gaping fish mouths are cool. It's better than the 09's Joker face.
