Kudos to her, that's awesome. And, thanks for your service to our country. It's true what they say, once you go black, well, you learn to carry a duster with you, and wash it every 3 days.

Thanks guys. I definitely love the wife and the car. It's getting difficult being patient while I break in the motor. I'm also contemplating getting the iPod interface added, (I thought it was standard with the Bose system) but I think I will save that for a Christmas present.

Your first redline will be an epiphany.
Then when you get the Cobb AP (from MM), taking it north of 9000 is pure bliss.
The OE iPod interface isn't too bad of an install. I hardly use it though. The sound of the Renesis is sweeter than any music.

The new ones still don't have anywhere to plug in an ipod? Wow.
I put an XCARLink in mine and it works great.
Congrats on the ride and thank you for your service! That would have made a good episode of "surprise homecoming".

Thanks for the support guys. It helps to make the time away worth it.
"and why did i have to convince my wife to keep my 8?
think my wife needs new personal mod."
-The 8 was a compromise. She made me get rid of my '88 10AE and she already has a Magnum. There was no way she could drive the RX7 with 2 kids if the Magnum broke down, but the 8 works out in a pinch. It's like negotiating, you have to start with a lowball offer (I want to keep my RX7), so when you finally settle on something she feels like she won.
