Newbie from Dublin, Ireland. Gr8 site. Full of info. I've been snooping around for a few days. First post.

Got my 8 in July. Couldn't be happier (apart from the fuel consumption in a country where a gallon of gas costs $7!). Still can't believe that a car that looks as amazing as an 8, drives as awesomely as an 8 and costs less than a BMW 318Ci (in Ireland) is mine!

Something interesting occured to me today. I have a friend who works in Mazda Ireland. He told me only 34 8s were registered in Dublin in 2004. Dublin is a city of 1.5 million people yet there are 4 8s in my housing estate alone! My silver with bodykit, a black, a blue and a red. I guess either we're all copying each other or good taste is in the water out here! Makes me smile.

you will love that car, I am a new owner as well just got mine on Sunday, I have only seen 1 8 in th elast 2 weeks, I love having a Sort of "exotic" people have asked me what it is...and now that the windows are black it looks so sweet!! Boral exhuast is coming soon....after the wedding though ( damn priorities)

 

very nice to have you aboard. I hope you have as much pleasure in driving your 8 as I have with mine...flew into Dublin once but due to my short layover didn't get to see much..The pics my friend has of Dublin makes me want to see it up close.
