"Du', I think you're lying, man. That's probably someone else's car."
Seriously, great to see you next to your wheels. Waiting for daylight to take pictures was a good idea.
Did you wind up getting it for MSRP or did your dealer still give you a hard time?
Hang loose.

There's a lot of people wondering about proper break in...

Sorry, I dont have pics at the moment as it's dark out.. If you can think of something else I can prove my worth, I'll try to produce..
I'm gonna see if my digicam works, it's been acting up.. But I wont be in the pic as my wife is already sleeping and no one is around to help me shoot it...

JSG is number 2
Congrats man! I hope you are enjoying your ride and not reading this board. But when you do, let us other Hawaii guys know if you got it for close to MSRP, or ended up paying a dealer mark up.
BTW, JSG claimed the number 2 spot first. Out of the forum members, I believe you're number 5. But hey, I'm just jealous

Car looks great! Congrats!
Can you tell us how that front license plate holder is attached? Do they have a bracket mount specifically for that, or did they just go through that sheet of plastic in the false grille? Would it be easy to take it off?
I really want to see how long I can go without a front plate here in Texas without getting stopped. If I do end up having to use it, I want to try to modify it so that it hangs a bit below the front grille... I think that might look better than having it inside the front grille.
Hopefully, I might have my car before you can reply, and I can find out for myself!

I haven't used a front plate since I came to texas in 95 and have never been cited for it. Even when pulled over for speeding tickets. I can't stand front plates and have requested my dealer leave mine off entirely for my RX-8 (we're not sure yet if he can legally do that). I definitely don't want drill holes

Exterior observation
You know, this car seems to sit very high compared to other sporty cars out there. Like, really high. I thought maybe it was just the magazine shots but there is clearly a pretty serious gap between the tires and fender. I'm not trying to derail this thread, but those pictures of Nut's car made the gap noticeable to me.

Congratz RX-Nut!!! Hope you enjoy it wisely.
The car look nice...i mean really nice...but the only problem is that the sidemarker is orange?! Man! if only they have those clear sidemarker in stock. Otherwise the car is really nice.
BTW Rx-nut, is your car gunmetal or silver?
