I would like to buy Bilstein Shocks
Hey, so i've been researching about shocks and springs now for about 3 months. and i feel like instead of combining a shock with different springs i've decided to just buy a Bilstein B12 kit. but for some reason, every website i try to purchase them on, i get redirected to the bilstein B6 (HD) kit. i dont want those. i've called bilstein's main office and they said they dont make B12's for an Rx8. but i've seen people put B12's on an rx8 before and everytime i ask where them got them and if they had to modify it to make it fit, they fail to answer. so i feel like it's time to post a thread about my problem. Can you guys please send me a link or give me some info on where/how to purchase them? I'm just trying to finish up my suspension upgrade before i leave for the Air Force.
I would really appreciate any help.

People have posted they have B12 kits on their rx8. so i'm assuming they do have them but they are just a pain to find...and the B16 doesnt interest me either. i have my mind dead set on the B12 kit. i'll get them eventually i'm not gonna give up.

I have 42K on my stock shocks (brand ?). I am just now feeling them loose their firmness. I put Bilsteins on my '79 RX-7 at 30K miles and put another 60K on them no problem.

As a generalisation, what you've stated is correct. But there are springs and then there are springs. Tein h.tech afford such a small change in drop that you can still use B6 even though technically you are lowering the car.
