Unhappy I Pwned My 8 :(

So I was on my way home just now from my buds house on the 5-South.
and an s2k is ahead of me, so I pull up next to it....... nothing.
so i leave... then I see his Bright *** lights coming up fast behind me.
so I downshift into 5th and gun it.
Im taking him by like a car lenght... then a car and a half length. then
jafdshkljds.

...

..

..

My pedal becomes light, and my car isnt responding anymore to my throttle ( I musy have been at like 6 or 7k)

I shift to 6th...

... still no response from the throttle...

I think to myself...
"My Motor is blown..... to a s2k"
as I see him flying by me.

I continue to decelerate then I drop it into 5th again.
then ............ my throttle is back.....
I cruise in 5th....

going like 80 or so....

catch up to the s2k who waited for me...
I pull up next to him and this guy is thinking he just beat me....
and Im super mad/ sad.

I give him a thumbs up.
He gives me a thumbs up and smiles as he checks my car out.

then he exits like 2 exits before me.
Im listening to my car for any weird sounds........... nothing.
I get home... I have to move my mustang so I turn my 8 off w/o letting it cool down.....
I smell something weird.......
not sure what it is.........

I pop the hood.....
/sniff sniff..........

nothing.

So I get back into my car to park it...

ekekekeke
...
.
.
.
ekekekekekekeke

engine wont start......... wtf!?

ekekekekekekekeke...

I look behind me and theres a thick cloud of Gasoline in the air and my eyes begin to burn of the smell of 91

I think to myself
"I really shouldnt be pushing my car untill I get my tune on Friday"

as I push my car into the parking spot...........

The End.

anybody know why my car choked on the FWY? and are these a sign of something broken?

sounds like your motor seized up on you, put the car back to stock (engine wise) and take it back for warranty work.

btw - we are jumping the gun here. Theres a chance ur car isnt dead, i would suggest taking it to a local rotary tuning shop before the dealer. That way if it is dead, youll know before the dealer - and you can return your car to stock for warranty work.

BUT FOR FUTURE REFERECE:
1 - dont street race
2 - dont push ur car without tuning
3 - dont let it stop without resting. Its an oil cooled turbo. Make sure it cools before shuttind down the motor

I got advice from a friend who said that maybe my engine is flooded and I should try pulling the spark plugs out and letting the engine dry up overnight... what do you think?

i doubt its flooded, cuz it seems like ur car was plenty warm when you turned it off. Nonetheless if you want to test it, dont rush to pull the plus. Theres simpler ways to deflood ur car before doing that.

Search for the deflooding DIY

Can't you just pull the plugs out and let the engine dry out over night? Thats what I did when I flooded my car.

1.) This is what happens when you

A.) Use crappy parts
B.) Push a car hard without a proper tune
C.) Do stupid **** like racing a car and then posting it on a forum where you know it's against the rules
D.) Turbo an NA car without having any clue what you're doing
E.) All of the above

I'd suggest not doing another stupid thing like turning it back to stock and taking it in for warranty work if in fact the engine is blown. Sorry to be harsh and I hope your car is fine, but someone had to say it...

infact, it might not be a weird sound at all. Its just my exhaust I guess. Ive never had a starting problem since i installed my exhaust. Its just a Deep Breb Breb Breb Breb. So i guess its normal.

Im gonna cross my fingers that its not the engine, and only time will tell tomorrow morning.

Im gonna take it to Mazdatrix.

If the tune with the kit was super rich you might of just flooded the engine. If it went lean...

Do you have any gauges like an AFR gauge to know if you went lean?

If it went lean there's the last resort way to get the RX-8 started.

You went lean then. 12's and 13's are about where you want to be. If you were in the 16's under heavy load you should of heard the engine pinging like crazy.

The lower the number the richer your running, the higher the leaner.
