I Need Assistance

ok guys.. i'm new to the forum here but i have an FD and now an FE... (sold my FC and miata to get the FE)

what i need are some links or maybe you could just tell me... i'm looking for basic bolt -ons that will help increase gas mileage and and also perform well enough to where i wouldn't have to do something to the ecu....

i haven't a lot of money to spend as you all know getting a car like this takes up most of your funds... so any info or help will be appreciated...

also i don't know if this is the right section for this thread... please move to the appropiate place if so...

thanks in advance...

First welcome to the club. Second, the reason why no one has responded to you is because your questions are core to a significant number of threads already on the forum. Spend some time here, there's tons to learn.

The simple answers to your questions are no. There are no inexpensive mods that will produce significant horsepower improvements. In fact some of the mods (intake, certain poorly designed cat backs) can actually decrease hp. As far as mpg, there have been claims for grounding kits and ignition wires but they have all been refuted. To get better mpg will require remapping and you won't get there without ecu mods.
