I just want to say hello

Hey everyone,

I have a 2008 anni edition RX8. My warranty finally expired so it's time to start tuning. Since I'll slowly start tuning, I figured it's time to stop lurking and become and real member. Anyways, just wanted to say hello!

your warranty expired? You mean from the dealer? You do know that Mazda has an 8year/ 100k mile engine core warranty, right?
That doesn't mean that changes anything for you modding plans
Oh, and hello!

Yes, the dealer 36k / 3 year warranty. I was getting free maintenance w/ the warranty. Didn't want them to see an intake or w/e and tell me they're not changing my oil anymore.

Actually, by law, the dealership isn't allowed to turn you away for having mods. They don't have to install them. But, modding is completely legal As long as the mod itself doesn't cause a direct problem...

Well, if it was just the normal warranty I wouldn't have thought twice about it, but the free maintenance was thrown in and had a lot of fine print. I wanted to play it safe and get my free oil changes, tire rotations, etc...

If you want to become a real member, you should...

1. Have your car slammed (no stock height)

2. I think that's it
