I found an RX8 that will be going on auction here in town.
I'm new to RX8's but I did a little research and now i'm confused. They have it posted as a 2004, but it matches up with the 2008 40th anniversary edition. It's mica grey, 6 speed, same rims as the 40th, and the Cosmo Red leather interior. 74,866 miles which seem like a long for a 08 though. So can someone enlighten me on this deal?

Ok, thanks guys. It was the Cosmo Red leather interior that really had me guessing. Was that just upgrade for the trim? I havent seen any other models other than the 40th anniversary with that 2 tone leather .. though like i said im dont know much about rx8's. I have a 2004 VW R32 right now.. my sister-in-law wants it really bad and is trying to get me to buy something different so she can buy it from me.

The previous owner probably swapped the seats and used the 40th anniversary ones but as you can see the wheels and color are completely different. The color for the 40th edition is Metropolitan Gray Mica and the one in the link is Titanium Gray.

 

Cool,, yeah I see the difference.. I think the entire interior was 2 tone,, but not positive. I should have taken pics. Anyway, what would be a good bid for that.. there were a few dings on the body and the rims looked like kinda rough. One tail light had water/moisture in it. Thats about all i could see from the outside.. *saw it after the bank had closed*
