I had to part with my 2007 RX-8....

Today was mixed with sadness and happiness. I had to sell my 2007 RX-8 (less than 15000 KM on the odometer) as I need to finish up my move from Tokyo to New Jersey/New York. Sad because I had to sell my pristine RX-8. Happy because I can go for a new one in NJ/NY. I enjoyed riding my 8 as it was a fun-to-drive car to drive while being decently practical with enough space in the back seat and the trunk. The exhaust sound from the R Magic TI-tipped exhaust was too addictive....

A good shot I took last year....

Congrats and good luck with your move

If you know the address where you are going to move then buy some parts and ship them to yourself!

I am moving to Bergen County. Once I secure a garage, I think I will go for a new car. While I am on the waiting list for a garage, I will make do with a company-issue Civic.

If I need some parts, I can certainly ask my folks to ship them to me. Maybe, I can still even deal with a Mazda dealer in Tokyo.

you should put the stock exhaust back on, sell it, and ship yourself the rmagic exhaust.

and make sure you get a manual, its quite a different car. far more powerful.
4 port autos do 130whp.
6 port autos do 150whp, i think.
6 port manuals do 180whp.

you must have a magic 4 port auto. was that with your exhaust, supercat, and rb duct?

most of the dynos posted here for the 4 port auto do about 125-130whp.

Kersh is right on that one, how the hell did you get 163whp on a mustang dyno? You must have a freak engine...
But the 6 port Autos can range from 150-165whp, the 6port MT is 170-190whp. Also they all have a 20hp difference to the flywheel.

4port: 192hp
6port Auto: 212hp
6port Manual: 232hp

You are really lucky then, most of them get 30whp less than you do. You are in the 6 port auto territory.

ill never dyno that high here in colorado

if I have 130whp at sea level then at 6000 feet I have 106.6 whp. That's if you figure you lose 3% of your horsepower for every 1000 feet.
