I finaly orderd my COSMO RX8 Red 192Hp. So in Belgium the waiting started again. The car is promissed for june-july and there would be a presentation at the circuit of Zolder or Fracorchamps for with i am invited by my dealer.

Has anyone notice of the presentationday in Belgium?

I absolutely will stay on the forum, as i did with my MGF.

There not so mutch fellow people from Europe on this messageboard; they are wrong you know. Soory if I make some mistakes, I'm not used to speak American-English but I do realy try.

What version RX8 did you buy and what color. You know, In Belgium we have a "use-tax" of 2500 eur=usd for a 192Hp and 5000 eur for a 240 Hp version, ammendements for high speed are very severe, so ... You understand ...

Thanks! I was lucky enough to attend the Belgian F1 GP at Spa-Francorchamps last year. What a fabulous venue. And what a shame that it may never again host a Formula 1 race.

Your english is very good, especially since you're not used to using it!

I'm not sure what the equivalent package is there, but I've ordered the Nordic Green color with the tan leather interior, and the grand touring package. I don't know about you, but I can't wait to get my car!

 

Nice choice Elara. That's going to be one beautiful car. If I wasn't having an early mid-life crisis (Velocity Red with Red leather) that would be my choice. I don't think I've ever seen a better green on a car.

 

Nice choice on the red too- that has to be one of the nicest looking reds I've ever seen. We considered it as well (and every other color), but I'm just afraid it'd make me too visible to cops- not that that's a real reason, but I'm a weenie sometimes. I finally decided on the green/tan because that was the basic combination I wanted on a Miata (before I found out the RX-8 was on the way).
