Hahaha :D And to think I almost overlooked this thread Sorry to say, though, DevilZero, it'll be a while before I get to the NXT Paste Wax. I've still got a barely-used bottle of Nano Wax I'm trying to work through (see my Nano Wax test). Once I'm done with that bottle (it likely won't take long since the damn Nano doesn't seem to last very long on the paint), the sky's the limits!

Urchin, I think I remember reading on the Meguiar's forum that it's mainly just a matter of preference as far as application goes. Some people are just hardcore paste users; others are liquid wax fanatics. I'll double-check sometime and re-post here if I find out othewise. Devil, since I know you've used the regular NXT wax, you'll have to give us your judgment on the paste wax and tell us if there actually is some kind of difference between the two.

As for me, I may actually be on the verge of becoming an FMJ worshipper! It's supposed to rival Zaino, and the gloss on the cars in those pictures is ridiculous... DevilZero, that may be next on our list :D

Markd lets open up a discussion on FMJ (Menzerna)

I snuck into the autoshow as they were setting up and the porsche detailers were using it and seriously it looked AMAZING! It was even on the Carrera GT :D

TrueMagellan: MDRX8 has already started a couple of threads on FMJ (see What a SHINE!!!! and FMJ - Menzerna's new super wax.). That's how I first found out about this stuff. I can't tell how relatively expensive the stuff is b/c I'm not sure how many coats you can apply in just one $40 bottle, but that stuff does look ridiculously shiny. I haven't seen it in person, but those pics are probably making Zaino users nervous.

Fmj

A little goes a long way and it can be layered (I would also use the final polish first. It makes your car sqeaky clean!). The bottle does not tell you how long to wait for the second coat.

I have the Porter Cable 7424. Works great. Just make sure to get some good pads for it. Don't use the one it comes with.

Other than that, the only damage you can do with it is if you drop it on the car so they say...
