Unhappy I broke my AC/Heat Dial

The cheap little plastic dial for the AC and/or heat broke the other day, i tried fixing it but it's not going so well. Anyone know what i can do to replace it? I know there are the Rx8 rotory shaped ones, but i am not fond of them personally. How do i go about getting the oem ones? Thanks

Mine kept twisting one day. I managed to get it slid back on, but its not in the correct position.

They are way too easy to break

It is part# fe62-61-195 and goes for around $40

But the plastic the goes around the shaft is thicker.

The link to the TSBs is broken, does anyone know where else it may be? i don't want to fight over a 40 dollar part, but i don't like this dealership and they screw with me every chance they get.

there's no tonality on the internet but i hope you're joking... the plastic piece that turns the metal piece has to be as thin as a breath mint strip, i'm going to take pictures later.

Yes the original one is thin. In the photo the newer one is on the left.

I had one dealer give me a hard time on the **** and demand $40.00. I told them to go screw. I brought it to a different dealer for a bunch of other stuff and they replaced it free without me having asked them. I was very pleased. The new one is much beefier and has held up well thus far. The original ***** were peices of crap.
