He just has buyers remorse. That's the big reason he's posting here.
Musta parked next to an rx8, met 2 girls who thought he was standing next to the 8 (because the z looks "normal").... they wanted to go have sex with him,

We're not hating cuz he bought a Z. We're hating cuz he came in here trying to **** on us...lol...if we don't chase him away right now..pretty soon...he's going to make a threat saying how much he likes his Z..blah blah..yada yada......

why would a rotary engine scare you? you know they're the most reliable engines on the planet right....
wouldn't you just love to switch gears in a piston at redline, having the tensioner float for a split second due to the timing belt slaping against it, then all of a sudden your cam gears slip a tooth or two causing your pistons to slam into the valves.
There are too many failure points on a piston engine in my eyes.

It's amazing to me that the RX-8 compares so favorably to 2-seat sports cars like the Z or s2k, given it's practical rear seats and lower price. All of your threads have been obsessed with the rather strained comparison between the Z and the 8. Did you consider other options? Did you look at other 2-seaters like the Cayman, a Corvette, or an Exige?
Did you buy new or used? How much did you pay? What's your warranty?

What has got me interested in the RX8 and chomping at the bit to get one as my next car is the reviews I read about it. It sounds like a "driver's car." And that's just what I want right now. I've done the muscle car thing, but I really don't care for straight line speed. I want a track car. Every review I read about the RX8 on the track makes it sound like such a fun and rewarding car to drive around a track.
He can have his Z (which I beginning to see is more like a Japanese muscle car). Give me an 8 and a road course.

A quick story/warning though: My 6'5" brother and I just returned from a 4000 mile road trip (in 7 days, 5 states) in my 50,000 mile 2004 silver sunlight 8 and it ran godly (cause it was made by god). Icy terror, 100+ degree weather, etc., the 8 prevailed over every obstacle.
Along the way, I met a Mustang owner in the lobby of a hotel who trapped me in a conversation about how much he had really wanted an 8 but he was too afraid of all the problems he had heard about the rotary engine.
I'm there thinking, "So you bought a Ford, wtf."
He then spent the next ten minutes admiring my car, staring at it, asking questions, and eventually he acknowledged that he had made a stupid mistake, and given a do-over he would have bought an 8.
Don't be that guy. He is annoying to everyone. Love your car and STFU about what you didn't buy.
