Ok, its been about a year since this thread was first around. How did the Huper Optik ceramic work out? Pictures anyone?
Mother's Window Tint is quoting me $400, which seems in line with previous posts, but I would really like to see it first.

I just had HO 30 put on all the way around. It looks great, but I'm experiencing some nav signal losses. I hope this is a function of it not being completely dry yet, but we'll see. I hope I didn't pay all this for it to jack with my nav. I wouldn't just go off and assume that because it's ceramic it won't mess with your electromagnetic reception and emissions - I have found barely anything that HO puts out that indicates as much...

The antenna's gotta be embedded in the roof or trunk lid since it needs direct line-of-sight to the satellite. It's not gonna be in the cabin.
The NAV antenna is in the trunk, but is directly under the rear dash panel. So, the reception does go through the cabin and out the rear window. Some tints will block the reception, but I seem to be okay so far with my tint. The guy who did mine uses Johnson window film and he has a contract deal with local Mazda dealers and which is the brand they use for all their cars.

Did this work for me?

Had the ceramic tint installed in January ($350 - thought it was expensive then, but looks like a decent price now). I have been very happy with it.

My 8 was the first one they had done - the owner indicated that he may bump the price up a bit in the future because the install (rear window) was a bit harder than he thought it would be.
