Post In the hunt

im looking for an rx-8 .i have 2 options. the first being a 2004 with 106,xxx miles it is a grand touring. 6 speed black leather heated seats with the navi and bose, he also has a few upgrads including k and n, powdercoated rims and a cat delete exhaust kit..seems like the guy has taken good car of it.is that alot of miles? i got him down too $8400 .my second ooption is a 2005 with 69,000 miles it is also the 6 speed with bose and heated leather just doesnt have the navi and the body kit that the GTcomes with. just has upgraded brakes.and he is asking $9500 and says he is firm and that it was religiously maintained . which is the better option? i just feel like if i buy the one with higher miles my luck the engine will blow. Thanks in advance

Fyi- the appearance package is an option on all models. Not standard on the GT.

So is the navi. A passing compression should help you decide on which one to buy.

I'll choose the one with the low mileage. Even though its a low mileage, get a compression test done on the engine, so that you know how healthy the engine is, good luck whichever you choose.
