humming...humming... pam!

humming...humming... pam!

Is it normal that after i turn my car off, i hear an almost electric humming sound coming from the bottom of the car for about 2 minutes and then a large compressed air release sound?

Yeah, sounds like cooling fans running. If it was warm and/or you were driving spiritedly they would come on.

its your air pump pumping the exhaust gas out the exhaust pipe and cools the cat down.
