hugging 8 commercial

has anyone seen that commercial where the guy hugs the rx-8 and the 8 hugs back with its doors? ... its the cutest thing ever!

My wife loves that commercial. Maybe that is why I don't get to drive the car that often.

That is funny, I have no doubt I am being replaced by a hugging car! I guess it is better than being replaced by some other hugging man.

I totally felt like that when I got my 8(even practically hugged the car like that, didn't want to scratch it though) and then seeing the commercial was awesome.... :D exactly how I feel.

WOW. Where has everyone been? That commercial is from last summer when car first came out. I remember seeing it over and over and over. I guess it was only played on certian channels. That's what led to my sickness and eventual purchase of the car in february. I haven't seen it on tv in a very long time. nice to see it again. Great commercial.

I hadn't seen the commercial since last summer either... until I test drove an 8 last friday, then I saw it playing the next day.

I think it's kinda lame whenever an advertising firm tries to make a car "cute" in a commercial instead of focusing on the performance or engineering aspects. Compare this to the awesome German RX-8 commercial and you will see exactly what I mean. You can find it here:
