Hows the MPGs

How is the gas mileage in this car, for a 50/50 mix of city and highway driving.

I drive almost 90 miles a day, ...so mpgs are important for me

Dont listen to them. If you put in the STP Gas Treatment at ever fillup, and drive the car under 2.5k rpm, you can get 30 mpg easy. Oh and at every other fillup, you put 4-6oz of moth *****. The moth ***** act as an octane boost to the gas. This greatly improves MPG.

RPM > MPG

I understand that makes no sense but neither does asking how's the Miles per gallon on a sports car

Solution: Buy an Evo

If you are really looking to get a car and MPG is a deciding factor you may want to look elsewhere. But this car will be by far one of the most Fun Per Mile than many by a mile.

Driving like I usually do, I get about 12-14mpg in town and about 18 on the highway.

20-21 mpg no matter how I drive. Been that was since day 1, now past 91000 miles exactly the same. The only exception is a long road trip and for some reason I keep my foot out of it or use cruise, I can get 25-26mpg.

MPG ive usually do 17 combined...but when you drive this car you really dont look at that. You dont get a RX-8 for the mpg but for the thrills.
