Hey, all. Wow, a week-long investigation to see if I'm worthy of the 8s. The rubber glove thing wasn't so bad.

So regardless of how long one has been lurking in the postage, new posters are almost always noob bombed. Some deserve it, but I think it's really more of an initiation. So let's get this over with.

Questions
1. How do I get more power in my 8?
2. Any way to get better gas mileage?
3. Who makes the best struts?
4. How do I do a search?
5. My clutch is squeaking. Could this be serious?
6. I think my engine is using oil. Anyone else have this problem?
7. I can't find my pistons.
8. What's a rotary?

BTW, I've only been an 8 pilot for about three weeks, and I'm loving it! DFW area.

Questions 4, 7, 8 makes me think questions 1, 2, 5, and 6 are jokes. Let me know if you aren't joking.

 

I'm totally joking. That was the point. I'm new here, and those are questions I've seen asked on here 500 times in the last three weeks. Then all the noob darts start flying. Yeah, a few I threw in there just cuz they make me laugh. I'm not trying to make fun of anyone; I just thought it would be a humorous way to say hello.

Question #3 is pretty legitimate in my opinion, there's a strut bar thread somewhere, but most people can't agree too much on which is best.
