How much really is forcetracker....?

I decided to install forcetracker from the dealer where I just bought the car...
At first.. they told me it is $593 for the forcetracker program for life... that's why I decided to install... but on the next day I went to install... the price jumped to $995 ... almost $1000... so I turned it down...
Does anyone know the real price? please tell me.
Also.. this dealer... calculated my car's price wrong twice...
first... they overcharged by $2000.... so I went there to change... and they did it again.. this time.. by 760 or something like that... I have to go the delaer tomorrow again to change it.... What should I do? tell the manager about this finance manager? He is definitely trying to rip me off.. dont you all think?

Sounds vary vague to me "Tracker's air and land based tracking network is specifically designed to actively search for and recover your vehicle." I didn't see the land based network. If it is satellite then it will be affected by buildings and rain. If you have to go with one go with LoJack. A least it has a tested system.

I have a better idea - cancel the dealer. Any dealer who jerks you around as much as this one doesn't deserve the business.

If you're in the bay Area, try giving Vince a call, he can install a MUCH cheaper and more reliable unit. Your total cost to own the unit and including installation cost is usually around $350-400 or less. You can reach him at 650-430-2628. Good luck!

Hmmm

I have a feeling that since 2004 this person has solved their problem, and may not need to contact "Vince". There is a section on the forum if you are trying to sell a product or a service......
