How many miles you got?

Sorry if this is posted some where else. I tried searching and have not found anything. Any ways...

My friend has an '04 w/ about 32K miles and the warrenty is up next year. She is thinking of getting rid of it because she doesn't want it to turn into a money pit. I haven't heard too much about engine reliablity so I can't help her w/ that.

I want people to post there mileage and any major repairs associated w/ drive train. I want to show how reliable these cars are. I know the RX8 has been awesome in endurance racing and is one of the cheapest cars to run and repair (50,000 miles between rebulids in a race car).

Thanks for everyones time. Let see if someone can beat the 150k I just read about.

118,800 miles. I had my motor replaced at 111,900 but I could have put more 'regular' miles on it. Other than that no major issues.

2006 RX-8 with 29k miles and about a season's worth of autocross events... no major issues. Engine and transmission have been running like a champ.

I will hit 100,000 sometime this week.

Tranny Replaced
Motor Replaced 25,000 ago
Dash Display Replaced 3 Times
Starter Replaced
Catalytic Converter is busted loose with CEL displayed
When it gets hot outside: my car runs terrible and still dies and my display that shows time etc rolls constantly like something off of the matrix.

Yeah I do, Mazda won't listen to me... they blame it on BestBuy... Cover your dash when it gets real hot with anything... Seriously, I used to use a hoodie laying in my back seat. The problem is that there is a metal plate laying against a board that goes to the display controls and its heating the capacitors up and making everything go crazy. A friend who is a little bit more knowledged on the situation fixed mine but I have no clue what he did and he probably doesn't either (He turned into a junkie and only knows the word "rocks" now).

LOL, This is crazy. It does come back every once in a while for maybe a few seconds and goes away. I haven't seen it happen in nearly a year and two weeks ago I was in Oxford at a Track Meet and I parked by the Colosseum and when I went back to my car it did it. Maybe its Oxford?

50,500 miles, 2004 MT. Only a couple minor issues:

*Cat replaced at roughly 35K
*Clutch Pedal Assembly Bracket replaced (going bad again already argghhh)
*Water in tailight - fixed by myself as opposed to paying stealership $300
*New Starter and new coils - paid for by Mazda after the stealers flooded the engine
*Sunglass holder busted - haven't fixed yet because replacing the whole piece (with lights etc) is necessary, and expensive
* In the shop right now getting new passenger side rims, tires, alignment, control arm, bearings, strut, and more after I hit a curb like an idiot.

Overall, nothing too bad.

I want to get a compression test done ASAP while I'm still under powertrain, because I have noticed some shuddering at idle and some minor minor loss of power (might just me being paranoid)

Can't really complain, I love this car like very few other material things.
