How many miles is too many for new?
I am looking at a new Silver 8 that has every option available including Nav and all the appearance pkg stuff. I can get it for 31,800 because of the S-Plan. The only drawback is that it has 130 miles on it. Is that too many miles or am I being really picky? I know the break-in rules weren't adhered to on test drives. I will probably do a 24 or 36 month lease on it, so it will be under warranty the whole time I have it.

Mine had 7. The number for a new car seems to vary, I've heard some have gotten it with 0 miles, though I'm not sure how that is possible since they have to test drive it, don't they?
At any rate, anything over 10 seems too much if you're buying. It's the jackasses out there who don't mind buying a car with 300 miles on it as new who encourage the dealerships to borrow cars off the lots and have fun in them. After listening to a sales man explain to me how the dealership wanted all the sales people aquainted with the RX-8, and how he gets to borrow any car off the lot to take home... I decided that dealership was the wrong place to be. Almost all the cars had 100+ miles on them.

mine had almost 100 at the time, but I didnt care, cause it was the only car with the color and options I wanted, and (at the time) it was a great deal. 300$ over invoice, so I had to take it. I just tell myself those 100 miles were not hard driven 9k redline miles.
