The additives in the gas in cali didn't agree with my RV very well when I was over there. I don't trust those blends.

260 to 270 when the light comes on. Still good for another 40 miles but I usually would try to add gas right away.

The yellow light comes on around 270. I drive more city lately and - for example - today I drove a 15 mile highway stretch in 3rd and 4th gear @ 4000 - 6000 rpms.. playing w/ a Viper.
I'm definitely having fun with RX-8 and still got 20.4 mpg at the end of this day when I filled up.

Usually fill up at 210-240 miles ... before the Enough light comes on.
The most I've put in is 13.3 gallons.
So far 8500 miles of driving pleasure.

maybe there's some sort of conspiracy!
The various types of gas required in different parts of the country also contribute to high fuel prices and even spot shortages when the numerous types of gas are changed as the seasons change.

I wish I had you people's mileage!

I typicallly get about 110-130 miles and fill up when it gets below a quarter tank - about 12ish gallons. Thankfully premium gas is down to "only" $2.25 these days.
