It's not thin and is really kind of a pain in the ***. It doesn't fit well with other keys and doesn't fit in a wallet. I hate it most of the time except when I get in and just have to turn the ignition without a key.

They also cost 350 to replace, ask me how I know

Do you guys know that this topic is covered by a TSB?

I keep my switchblade key by itself, separate from my regular key ring. It's just big enough by itself.

Fortunately, I have big pockets. No, literally, I leave my credit card key in my pocket and just turn the ignition without the key in it.

My dad was a little silly and bought a spare card key (we didn't know at the time that we could get the simple key). So I know your pain sort of.

I used to carry it on a caribeaner on my belt loop and lost it at a party so now it goes in the pocket. I've carried my keys this way for years and never lost my old Subaru key. When we went to get a new one we were told just the valet key wouldn't start the car, between that and that same dealer telling me the noise coming from my blown shock was loose nuts in the diff.

Never going back there again.

I'm terrified of carabiners and keychains. They never feel secure for me.

I do use multiple keyrings to connect everything together though. There's no way I can have everything on one keyring.

I think I may get a new one that screws locked and go that way again. I still use the caribeaner to hold all my **** together but keep it in the pocket, I've had the same one for 8 years and can't just let it go
