Oh lol, it was that old :D Was just lurking around in random threads and found it quite amusing that my top-speed was just as good as the HP version... But thread-resurrection always ftw ^^

 

Seems to me that elevation (i.e. air density) and temperature could be a factor in top speed. I could be wrong.

Other factors - Weight, how much fuel in the tank, passengers, fat *** drivers etc etc.

Drag - And mods such as vortex **** things that help? Wind deflectors, spoilers...??

And of course - tires. Tire pressure, tire treads, tire width, and road surface up, down, smooth, glossy, wet, etc etc.

EDIT- Forgot to mention fuel type and additives. Maybe V Power gets you to 250+ km/h who knows. Octane boosters...??

I love that bridge. I think the $4 is worth doing that ****. Ive always searched for a straight long enough with no possibilities of a cop being there. Best place for that is a bridge (as long as you do not drive by a cop driving on the bridge), and why not a bridge built on a widest part of the Hudson River lol.

in a safe place i have had my rx8 goin 148 mph, it was fighting to go higher :D it probably could, i was racing a rocket, i was beating it till it hit 150, (daytona 675 topped out at 175) we were both in a safe place soo i cant feel guilty, lets just say it was a one time thing :D


like they say if your going to die might as well die with a smile on your face at high speeds lol

110 on an extremely long ramp leading onto a local freeway.

 

I got up to 154 mph with a fat kid in my car. I don't think 160 is out of the question.

 

108 by accident... was just enjoying the sound of the engine and looked down to find I'd crept up to 108! I love living in the country... I think I've scared every cow in a 50 mile radius!
